So far...

NDSU's Nick DeLuca is on the Butkus Award Preseason Watch List (http://www.thebutkusaward.com/thebutkusawards/watchlist/view.aspx?t=c), and Harvard captain Sean Ahern is on the Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List (http://lottimpacttrophy.org/2016-watch-list/).

Please add more current FCS players as more awards lists are released.

I believe he was the only one but I would have put at least 6 or 7 different FCS players if I were doing the lists. You could argue that 2 FCS RBs deserve Doak Walker mention, 1 OT on Outland, 1 WR on that list, and maybe a DE on one or two lists.

Lamar's Kade Harrington should be up for some award again this year.

As a junior, the Kingwood, Texas native rolled up a school-record 2,092 rushing yards in 2015, becoming just the seventh player in NCAA Division I history to top 2,000 yards in 10 games. When the dust settled, Harrington had run for 21 touchdowns and set per-game Southland records in rushing yards (190.2) and points scored (12.5).
He finished a narrow second to Eastern Washington’s Cooper Kupp in voting for STATS FCS Offensive Player of the Year and was selected by fans as ASN’s FCS Player of the Year (http://americansportsnet.com/asn-awards-show-find-out-who-you-voted-players-of-the-year/). In layman’s terms, what Christian McCaffrey (2,019 rush yards, eight rushing scores) is to Stanford, Harrington is to the Cardinals of Beaumont, Texas — the biggest fish in a small red pond.
