Hi, Ive been a longtime follower but just recently joined AGS. A video just came out of Richmond showing RG Tom Evans squatting 690lbs to break the school record again and it got me thinking a little bit.
Much has been made of the NDSU strength staff and their ability to pack on lbs and muscle to incoming freshman and see the effect in their subsequent years performance. I am sure this is the same with many FCS schools but I feel like it does go unnoticed to some degree. Richmond has a very reputable strength coach in Chris Stewart and his student athletes have had an enormous amount of success at UR and his previous school's programs. Does anyone else have some good stories to share or thoughts on how strength and supports staffs compare throughout FCS?
