I think a close comparison could be if Georgia State had gone from winless in their transition year to winning the FBS title.

Really enjoyed watching your boys have both a sporting and emotional meltdown on Monday. Behaving like the losers that they are.

Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy has apologised following allegations that he made a racial slur in a casino.
The Sun on Sunday (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/6581386/England-ace-Jamie-Vardy-in-racism-storm.html) published a video of the alleged incident, which is believed to have taken place on 26 July.
It appears to show Vardy directing a racist slur at another patron of the casino, and repeatedly telling him to "walk on".
The 28-year-old footballer said: "I wholeheartedly apologised for any offence I've caused."

"It was a regrettable error in judgement I take full responsibility for, and I accept my behaviour was not up to what's expected of me."
Leicester City FC said they "expect the highest standards" from their players on and off the pitch, and said they would be beginning an investigation into the incident straight away.

In June, three Leicester City players - James Pearson, Tom Hopper and Adam Smith - were sacked from the club after an investigation into a racist sex tape they made while on tour in Thailand.

On 7 June, Vardy played in his first international match, playing for England in a friendly with the Republic of Ireland.

Oh, that racist gang bang?

Leicester City have issued a statement to confirm they have launched an investigation into a video that was released by a Sunday newspaper that appears to show three of the club's players engaging in a sex session which includes racially abusing a Thai woman.

James Pearson, 22 – son of manager Nigel Pearson – striker Tom Hopper, 21, and goalkeeper Adam Smith, 22, can be seen in the video naked, with the footage obtained and released by the Sunday Mirror, in which one of them calls a Thai woman a “slit eye”. It’s alleged that the players shared the video with friends back home in the United Kingdom, before the newspaper published it on Sunday.

In the statement, Leicester have confirmed that the club were “deeply concerned” and the players “would like to convey their sincere apologies for their behaviour”, having been flown home from the club’s end of season tour ahead of the rest of the squad.

Piara Powar, executive director of the Football Against Racism in Europe, accused the three Premier League players of being "privileged young men" who were "exerting their power" over the three women and "demeaning them sexually and racially abusing them".

"There is no point in pretending that videos like this aren't made and shared all the time, but the arrogance of doing it while on a goodwill trip to the country of your owners, the people paying your salaries, is mind blowing,” Powar said.

"The fact that they are Premier League footballers, and one of them is the manager's son, means that there is a responsibility to behave, like it or not.

"I hear Nigel Pearson takes a strong stance against discrimination. It's a shame he hasn't passed the message on to his players and even more of a shame his son doesn't get it."

Racism is rampant through the club

The racially charged sex-tape scandal that turned Leicester City’s Premier League fortunes around
A SEX-TAPE of a racially charged orgy in a Bangkok hotel was a public relations catastrophe for Thai-owned Leicester City — but it proved an unlikely turning point in their journey to the top of the English Premier League.
The offending video featured three young players including James Pearson, son of then manager Nigel Pearson, engaging in explicit acts with group of Thai women in a Bangkok hotel.
Filmed by the players, the footage of the s******ing men was soon revealed by the British tabloid press, shocking the public with the players’ crude remarks including calling one of the Thai women a “slit-eye”.
But while the sex-tape caused outrage, it also ushered in a new era for Leicester as it paved the way for the arrival of manager Claudio Ranieri, who has taken the club to the brink of the Premier League title. (http://www.heraldsun.com.au/football/premier-league/leicester-city-on-cusp-of-premier-league-crown--this-is-how-unlikely-the-triumph-is/news-story/431c7a0c1ac70ab39c30fd969a6f5512)

After the scandal last May, the players were promptly sacked and pressure mounted on Pearson — a manager who already had a bruising relationship with the British press.
At the start of July, Pearson also exited due to what the club simply described as “fundamental differences in perspective”.

Critics lined up to condemn the owners, billionaire Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha and his son Aiyawatt or ‘Top’, for a decision that came after Pearson had steered the team from the bottom of the table to 14th.
Pearson’s sacking, said former star striker Gary Lineker at the time, showed that the Thai owners “clearly don’t know what they’re doing”.
But a fortnight later the experienced Italian Ranieri arrived, to little fanfare, and quietly set to work on what would become a stunning season.
“The hotel incident brought the hero,” Satit ‘Bigjah’ Krikul, Thailand’s best known television football pundit said, referring to Ranieri’s appointment.
“Of course the incident damaged the reputation of the Leicester team and affected Thailand a bit ... but it’s Thai style that this kind of news blows over.”
The owners have stayed silent on the sex scandal and even Bangkok’s police, who had threatened to prosecute the women involved for indecency, now say they have no record of the incident.

Despite Thailand’s raunchy night-life and reputation, sex is a taboo subject in what remains a largely conservative country.
When asked recently in Bangkok if the club will return for a triumphant Thai tour this year, Top replied with a terse, “No”.
The genial Ranieri immediately presented a calmer, kinder face to the public and brought a wealth of top-level footballing experience.
He inherited a team on a good run, bolstered the squad with some shrewd signings and embarked on the unlikeliest of title charges.

At the start of this season the Foxes were widely tipped for relegation, with British bookmakers offering 5,000-1 odds against a league victory.
One of Ranieri’s first tasks was to issue a heavy fine to striker Jamie Vardy, who was caught on camera calling an Asian man a “Jap” three times at a casino.
Vardy’s “mistake” was forgiven by Ranieri, and he went on to power this year’s title bid with 22 league goals
