Successful teams embody players and coaches with successful characteristics. Two of the main characteristics Elon football teams had in its most successful years were ownership and accountability. *Recently, David Harrison '10 and Brandon Wiggins '11 served as honorary team captains for the Phoenix football team's Spring Game. The two former standouts were part of one of the most successful runs during the school's Division I era of football.
