Sometimes it's hard to transfer those kinds of benefits. I heard getting the San Diego zoo to transfer lifetime free admissions to founder's kin has involved court battles. I couldn't imagine how hard it would be to get Firehouse to pass on your free subs to your next of kin. At least players can sell a ring.

If that's not an acceptable issue to banter back and forth about for ideas that are practical as far as leading a team as a coach outside of the Xs and Os, I don't know what is.

I'm a fan of the 5-peat ring. If only that one makes it into an archive, a historian in 200 years can write about NDSU's mythical 5 peat because that ring makes it clear ;).

I got volleyball, softball and tennis trophies packed away in boxes plus other "attaboy" awards. I don't even care any more. It's the memories and friendships that matter.

The stuff I value the most is homemade cards with scribbled art from preschool family members. I'll never throw that stuff away.

UNH has a bunch of posters in the bathrooms warning boosters not to offer recruits/ players; gifts, rides in their cars, meals at their house etc..... I always laughed at this, until it dawned on me that creeps probably try this all of the time.

It is. Be a little fair, WIU was the third place team last year, they held tiebreaker wins over UNI and SDSU. Their recent history has been a flaming trash can though, and they did have 5 losses before the playoffs.
