Leading up to Elon's spring football game on April 23, a member of the Phoenix football program will share their thoughts on the upcoming season.*Featured in this week's edition is defensive coordinator Patrick Madden. Madden joined head coach Rich Skrosky's staff in January 2014 as the defensive line coach and was promoted to defensive coordinator and linebackers coach in the spring of 2016. A 1999 graduate of Wesleyan University, Madden has made coaching stops at Tufts, Lawrence Academy, New Hampshire, Boston College, Columbia, Wesleyan and the Omaha Nighthawks of the United Football League.
