LAKE CHARLES – Lance Guidry has coached the McNeese Cowboys in spring practice nine times but on Friday, it'll be the first time he takes the team out onto the field as the defending Southland Conference champion's head coach when the Pokes take part in the first of 15 spring dates over the next five weeks culminating with the April 16 spring game in Cowboy Stadium.
