Match is at 7 p.m. EST and should be available streaming from Lehigh's website. Match as has been sold out for almost two weeks. Mountain Hawks likely without their #9 ranked Mitch Minotti at 157, who would still be underdog to #1 Nolf, but competitive. Challenge, now, will be not giving up bonus points at that weight class. People dissecting the lineups trying to figure out how Lehigh can find a path to victory. "Must" wins would be at the first three weight classes, where Lehigh will be underdogs, but capable of pulling upsets. After that, Lehigh could be favored at 165 (assuming Preisch is healed and depending on the Nit sent out), 184 with Nathaniel Brown #3 v. #7, and 285 with Max Wessel. Nine of PSU's expected wrestlers are ranked in Top 20, with four #1's and a #3. This is the 19th time in Lehigh history that we have hosted a dual meet against the, then, #1 ranked team in the country. The only time Lehigh pulled the upset was five years ago against Cornell, 19-17. LU is calling for all fans to wear their "favorite" shade of Brown for a "Brown-out" at Stabler Arena. Should be a great atmosphere.

Well, I got to be part of the largest crowd in Stabler Arena history tonight as 5909 jammed the place to see the Mountain Hawks take on the #1 Nittany Lions. The guys were game, but PSU showed why they are #1. Only got one of the first three weight classes, which were key to pulling any upset. We were missing three starters at 157, 165 and 174, but all three subs came out grappling, and one almost pulled off a shocker losing by 1 point. Randy Cruz at 141, Nate Brown at 184 and Max Wessel at Hwt. were the winners. Mason Beckman continues to perplex as there does not seem to be a fire anymore. Darien Cruz fought gamely with Megaludis, but was just out leveraged. PSU's Nolf at 157 is a beast and pinned Ian Brown, subbing for #10 Minotti, who is battling complications from knee surgery three weeks ago, so fingers crossed whether he will be available for the post-season tournaments. PSU with four #1's and several others in the Top 10 will be well positioned to score well over 100 points at the NCAA's. Iowa's record could be in jeopardy.

Penn State is a machine this year. Iowa has more ranked wrestlers in their lineup but not the #1s like PSU.
It will be a battle between those 2 teams for the NC.
I'm hoping NDSU's best wrestler, Zillmer (184) can make a run at the NC.

Well, to get there he'll have to go through our guy Nathaniel Brown and/or Cornell's Gabe Dean. Both very accomplished and who met in the finals last year. Got my tickets today for MSG in March!

It will be tough but he can do it if he gets on a roll. He beat Dean last year. He is ranked #4 right now with a 27-3 record.
NDSU beat UNI yesterday, which I am surprised with. NDSU has been a really piss poor dual team this year and thought UNI would beat NDSU. UNI had some guys out with injuries, pretty sure that is why NDSU won this dual.

Now I know why the name was familiar. Dean is the only guy our guy has not been able to solve so far. Of course, they are in the same conference, so they end up wrestling each other 2-3 times a year, which gets tough.
