Hmm, I think he is making a case here. He's right that recruiting is an inexact science, but so also are scouting and drafting. Personal biases tend to differ what makes a talented player as such, hence, the reason why that inexact science term exists. In addition, in every batch of five-star recruits each year, only about half up to two-thirds of the batch make it to the NFL at all.

Case in point: Kristaps Porzingis of the NBA. Many were shocked by his being drafted at all, but now, he is proving them all wrong.
