Fargodome Video Board updates

Looks like Fargodome authority voted today to put new technology into the Dome.

If you've been in Fargodome, you know that the sound and video tech is pretty terrible. Looks like we're finally going to be getting past this!

The banners are a little out of date.


I was jealous of SDSU's large video board, until I realized that we're getting TWO of them + the four corner boards being replaced too.

Seeing a Bud Light advertisement on a Bison scoreboard leads me to one unequivocal conclusion.... they're selling beer in the Fargodome for Bison games!

Good for you guys on getting a few new ones in there. It sounds like Washington-Grizzly Stadium will be getting a new and bigger Griz Vision as well. I think we've had ours since 2001.

Lol. Our current systems were a joke, at best....completely and utterly terrible at worst.

They really were something that was an embarrassment. I'm glad we're doing it finally.

UNH has been one of the top teams in the FCS for long, and frankly had a chance to take NDSU out last year. Weren't you updating your stadium?

Outside of the Ivy's, there are other schools in the FCS that have bigger endowments, and more money. Hell even in the MVFC; YSU and USD are technically richer.

Haha yeah im just giving some sass. Its really incredible what NDSU has in terms of fanbase, resources, and of course the program thats currently there. Truly is quite amazing considering the landscape from even 10 years ago. Any flak you guys get can simply go in the "They hate us cause they aint us category". I wouldnt even respond to some of the crap that gets spewed on here. As a patriots fan, and maybe this sounds brash because Im completely biased, but we get similar flak for the Patriots franchise for their success over 15 years in a system that is supposed to breed parity.

As for UNH, yes, they are FINALLY upgrading the stadium to at least be on par to most of the CAA and FCS. Its only a 25M upgrade but it takes UNH's old stadium from bottom 5th percentile to the top 20% I would guess. For a while i thought UNH could win a title, but with the Bison standing there, Im not so sure anymore...

Haha yeah im just giving some sass. Its really incredible what NDSU has in terms of fanbase, resources, and of course the program thats currently there. From everything I've seen, SDSU's board is an entire video board. IE: The stats they quote are only parts that can play videos.

2. If your going to use a pic to highlight the video board one would think you'd stage it so it showed your team winning.
