Mountain Hawks, missing two ranked starters, still dominated the Sooners this afternoon in Norman, OK.

125 #10 D. Cruz (L) WBD Milhoff, 6-2

133 #2 Brewer (O) WBMD #15 Beckman, 14-5

141 #10 R. Cruz (L) WBMD Blackwell, 8-0

149 #17 Gardner (L) WBD 6-5

157 #10 Minotti (L) WBF 6:04, Tucker

165 Preisch (L) WBD, 5-2, #9 Glass

174 #17 Reed (O) WBD, 7-5, Wolf (up two weight classes subbing for #18 Riddick)

184 #3 Brown (L) WBTF, 20-5, 6:10, Dixon

197 Haas (subbing for #15 Bolich) (L) WBD, 6-2, Johnson

285 #17 Wessel (L) WBD, 10-8 #6 Glass

Okies came in ranked #6 and #8 in polls with Lehigh #10 and #12. This was a great victory with the team just coming out of final exams on Wednesday. Riddick and Bolich were held out due to illnesses. Lehigh now off until the Southern Scuffle on January 1 & 2, I believe being held in Chattanooga this year. Great tournament. However, Brown and Beckman will be attending the Midlands Tournament at Northwestern.

Great win guys especially on the road. LU should find themselves back in the Top 10 once rankings come out on Tuesday.

Jealous. We couldn't get it back east. I had to listen to the broadcast on the internet through Lehigh's website. Coaches also had fingers crossed awaiting results from finals and no one is ineligible! Santoro has the guys attacking. If Beckman can get back into shape from his slow start, our chances at a top 5 finish at NCAA's are real.

Lehigh has now jumped from #13 to #10 in latest NWCA poll. Team, minus Beckman and Brown, will be competing in the Southern Scuffle New Year's Day and Sunday. Beckman and Brown will be at Midlands.
