That is what most teams say. The best part is watching FBS teams going into games. They consistently think that we have no chance in the world and are completely shocked and dazed by half time. I can't wait for Iowa! Most seem to be learning though as we have been having a really tough time finding any that will pay us anymore. I'd definitely put the odds against us for the Iowa game but I wouldn't be surprised if we won it. It should be a great game!

Just back from Teammaker lunch. Klieman shared a great story that happened pregame. They were waiting to run out of the tunnel and waiting for Jacksonville St to get all their guys on the field. Once all of their guys were through, Kileman and the boys were ready to head out when a lone Jack State guy come late out of the locker room. He stops, looks at Carson and the rest of the team and basically says something like "The run ends today...#11, your going to be on you ass all day...you ****ing guys are going down..", something to that affect. Klieman and others had to physically hold Carson back and he responded with "Come on...bring it", again, something to that affect. Klieman said at that moment, he knew the game was over. When he got on the headset, he told the coaches in the booth; "I think our guys are ready." Pretty awesome story. Not surprised about the outcome after hearing that.

Probably not smart to piss off your competition right before the game.

I agree, homer fans are always going to throw blame on their teams play, see the USD game threads for us. To be fair, the "it wasn't fair, they had too many fans there" comments were pretty funny, but a lot of **** gets thrown around on the interwebs. To throw some credit to JSU, they had some success running some of their read-option stuff in the second half. I was pretty vocal leading up to the game I didn't think they'd have much success through the air, and that turned out to be true. They also did a decent job of bottling up some of our run game, but then you plug in Wentz, and good ****ing luck. JSU had a great season, run through the OVC again (I think we all agree that's not too difficult) and you'll be seeded again with another opportunity to make a run for the title.

My opinion is that if they played 10 times, NDSU would win 7 of them. JSU had the size, speed and ability to match up and play with the Bison but they didn't. Why? A lot of what happened in that game was because NDSU was that good but I think some of it was also because JSU and Grass came in totally unprepared for the bright lights of the championship game. And not only was JSU not prepared to play on that stage, they were also unprepared to play the kind of physical game that the Bison play. This isn't unusual, lot's of teams struggle against the Bison the first time playing them. Grass may have wet the bed in this game but JSU has also progressed every year under him so I would expect them to learn from previous experience and do better in future encounters. JSU will be back, and I think we learned a lesson for sure. Our program isn't a one and done program like Towson was, no offense to the Towson folks, but we have the depth and the recruiting to keep us headed in the right direction.

Now... NDSU is really good for FCS football. We need strong teams, dynasties, for the recognition and attention we deserve. I truly believe the top 10 teams in FCS could beat any non-P5 any given Saturday, and some of us have had more than our share of P5 scares and upsets! I'm taking a long break from the fighting, I didn't say anything outwardly arrogant or cocky. I spent the entire game surrounded by drunk assholes. It was miserable. Good post, but what I will say is his political leanings have nothing to do with how I think he posts in the football board. There are plenty of other posters that have the same leanings (maybe not quite to the extreme....you could also say I'm the inverse of NoDak...along with FPC also)....but that doesn't carry over for them either.

Different strokes for different folks, I like both boards for different reasons. If you want more flavor and thoughts from other teams you need to come here. And that part is true no matter what team you are a fan of. Folks who call Bisonville home don't like it when fans of other teams go there only for the game being played between them and the Bison that week and talk smack and then are never around after to take the heat after a loss, and some Bison fans do it as well to other teams boards. They hardly forced a relationship. Rey was the lead and Finn was her foil. He basically only existed in the movie to establish Rey as an independent character who didn't need a "Han Solo" or "Luke" to bail her out of everything.

What at would you have rather had that or them flying around in plastic looking props with a running screen in the background like they did in the 70's? The difference between this movie and the trilogy was this movie wasn't made on the budget of $20 so they actually had money to have quality special effects. I don't think it was overused. It added a little flare, yes. But it wasn't dominating at all. It played the role CGI is supposed to play.

Kylo Ren being a bitch is the whole point. He wants to be then next Darth Vader but doesn't have guts. Honestly he doesn't even come close to being the diva Annakin was.

Snoke, I will withhold my opinion on him until the next movie. There are a LOT of theories around him.

5-4-6-7 in order of greatness. I cant even put the prequels in there due to how horrible they were. I actually went for free as part of double date. There is this lady I know who wanted to go opening night and I had no intention on going until a couple of weeks later. Well she asked if I would go with her sister and her sisters fiancee so I went. So to answer your question, I did not give Abrams and Co. any money towards it and I am glad that I did not either.
