UCA had 27 seniors plus those that fall off every semester for whatever reason. Coach Campbell could be replacing over 1/3 of the team. Need these guys.

I love the fact our coach is going with BIG tall guys..so different than the 14 years under conque. Everyone chooses different I guess.

UCA bring in a new team.

Might as well. I'm sure over 30 players will be gone next year due to graduation and other factors. Will be interesting to see a whole new team on the field. I like how this coach recruits.

Comparitively, teams like McNeese lose less than 20 this year. Next year will be tough for Bear fans..but we will get to tailgate in Lake Charles! xthumbsupx

Last year UCA signed 8 mid-year transfers but only lost 17. Hopefully they will sign a few more but I'd really like to see more high school kids.

Yeah, but the 20 we lose make up the offensive line, the QB, a very good running back, our leading linebacker and leading defensive back...

The leadership they provide will be hard to replace....

And, in case you haven't heard...we lost our head coach, so there's going to be a continuity problem!

WHAT? xlolx Been there...done that. Sucks but $$ talks.

Losing 27 players pretty much guts your team. RBs, OL, most of the defense..it will be a rebuiliding year..but I'd still like to see MORE high school kids than transfers.

Mosley was ranked as one of the top 60 cornerbacks in the country by Scout.com, while 247 Sports listed him among the top 105 players in the state of Texas.

UNH is bringing in a transfer form Villanova to compete for the open Wild E. Cat mascot position. Hopefully he can help us sustain our current run of success...

The loss of the offensive linemen scare me the most. I don't care how good your skill people are, if you OL isn't good and experienced. After that, it is the loss of the DB's.

Plus, we have to break in a new coaching staff. It will an interesting year. Makes me think of that old Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times!".

That is what I thought of first. And when looking at the photos of the transfers, when I got to one my mind automatically went kicker when seeing it before looking at the position. Sure enough, it was a punter. ;)

Freakin' NICE! I see another year of natty contention. Wish we got those kind of transfers. But our coach is from the JUCO ranks and brings in those kids. I guess we'll see how it pans out! I believe in them...

We know its a long ass drive!! We have had to make it more than our share in the last several years. I'm wondering when the Conference is ever going to let us play HBU with that "long" drive. ;)

LS has always been long snapper. I have never seen SN used at any level. Except ESPN SportsNation.

I would not go getting all impressed with FBS transfers, you saw how well it helped JSU to have 13 or so SEC transfers on their team this year in the national championship game, choke choke cough cough.xasswhipx
