yea, Tony is one of the top recruiters in the nation. Rivals.com named Hughes one of the country’s top 25 recruiters earlier this year after the Bulldogs signed five of the state’s top six players. Hughes’ recruiting prowess figures to be a major bonus for Jackson State.a big pay cut though; $260,000 per year. Hughes earned $400,000 at Mississippi State this season. coming the state school, some those guys he told to go JUCO and they'll call them in 2 years or ones that Mississippi State didn't have room for, he can how re-call them and say they is an opportunity at Jackson State. he is one of those bush-wackers(yea, i know how some of yall think. lol) who finds gems in those small towns no one knows about. it's going to be interesting who will he bring in as coordinators and assistants. there is word like only 2 guys are retained to come back from the former staff to support transition.

I can't imagine that kind of quote will endear him to the current players on Jackson St's roster.
