Lets just say that his last name sounds the same as that dude who used to play for the Green Bay Packers: Koonce

Luke Rhodes, LB from W&M not on even the 2nd or 3rd team? I'm sure there are many other questionable selections or non selections, but that one jumped out at me.

Josh Barge on 3rd team. I don't know that there is a better receiver than Barge at the FBS level, much less FCS. Ruben Gonzales could be 2nd or 3rd team had he not missed 4 games with a shoulder injury, but Barge is a freak. As much press as Eli and Buster (Pope) get, Barge is probably our best offensive player.

There are already an awful lot of W&M All-Americans considering how they just got gobsmacked twice by a team with only 3rd teamers.

True Richmond should have had some guys on the 1st or 2nd team. Swapping Greene's 3rd team selection with Coprich's 1st team might seem the right thing to do this morning. However, I think Luke Rhodes still deserves to be on one of the 3 teams.

Here are the top snubs.

1. Cole Toner, Harvard- I'm sorry but any team that does not have him 1st team, let alone fails to list him in a 2nd or 3rd team, is automatically disqualified as legit. He is a big time talent and better than Haeg to be honest with you. Phil Savage doesn't always hit on every small schooler he takes but Toner was so good this year that the Senior Bowl invited him in the first wave and Toner was unanimously voted to the NFL Combine recently. He is the best OL I saw on film all year long.

2. Vad Lee, James Madison- Best QB in the country this year. While not the best NFL prospect (that is Wentz) Lee was so good when he was on the field it is almost criminal to leave him off.

4. LB Myke Tavarres, Incarnate Word- Not sure how he got snubbed. Put up big numbers and not only that he was the fastest man on the field and an impact player. Best LB in the SLC.

5. OT Julie'n Davenport, Bucknell- Big time player. I would put him in the top 25 for the STATS OFF POY next year.

6. DT Greg Millhouse, Campbell- Millhouse is a beast. Just watch Campbell. All that buzz was on his teammate the DE but Millhouse was the man constantly penetrating and pushing the pocket. Best DL in the Pioneer League in a while and that includes the Marist kid who got drafted in the 7th round.

7. DT Tyler Kuder, Idaho State- Not sure why he does not get more attention. He is an absolute beast who can fly and plays with a good motor.

8. RB Jacobi Green, Richmond- Huge snub if he is not listed by an outlet. Had a monster finish to the year and would have been the CAA OFF POY if he had started the year close to as good as he finished it.

9. LB Luke Rhodes, W&M- Not the best year but man he is talented. Leaving him off is just wrong. Best tools and most freakish athletic ability of anyone on this list.

10. S Miles Killebrew, Southern Utah- He is a freak. Extremely fast and will hit you. Big time talent who people stay away from if they are smart. Very good run supporter.

11. LB Andrew Ankrah, James Madison- Beast of a player who is an All-CAA caliber guy at DE and LB. Has speed and was disruptive all year.

12. CB James Bradberry, Samford- One of the top 5 CBs in all of FCS for sure. Not sure how he is left off a list like this. Heck of a talent and the best DB Samford has had in the last 5 years, which says a lot.

I'm surprised Pope didn't make the list. He's All-American caliber.

Yes Kupp is the best for sure. I think after Kupp though you can start arguing who is next. I love the SDSU WR as well. I think there are at least 5-6 top notch WRs in FCS though.

Still can't figure out how Tyrone Holmes is not 1st team. Led the country in sacks by a long shot (18 to his nearest competitor's 13.5), and is one of three players up for defensive player of the year. He was double-teamed virtually all year and he still put up the best numbers in the country.

On top of that, 4 of his sacks came in Montana's two playoff games.

For that matter, can't figure out how he wasn't the Big Sky defensive MVP. Cowser is a great player, but he didn't have near the year Ty did. Must have been a career achievement award.

True - that is the basis of all American voting. No arguing the w&m selections, no arguing that Rhodes is a stud who will be playing on Sundays. Also, no arguing UR deserved more recognition.

Thoughts on Jamaal Jones' NFL prospects? His work ethic these last two years appears second only to Cooper Kupp around here

I like him. I just don't think he is going to make most All-America teams.

He's good. I wish he was in a major all-star game.

Can't believe Nick Deluca didn't make it. Thought CJ Smith is also deserving.
