Grambling State University head football coach Broderick Fobbs is among 15 finalists for the*STATS FCS Coach of the Year.Fobbs and his coaches have led the GSU Tigers to an undefeated SWAC conference season going into the 42nd Annual Bayou Classic at the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans Saturday (Nov. 28). The Tigers (8-2; 8-0 SWAC) clinched the SWAC West title and are heading to Houston to play Alcorn State University for the SWAC championship.*STATS announced Fobbs and 14 other coaches as nominees Monday (Nov. 23) after consulting with conference offices.
