Somerset, PA -- A pair of NEC football were coaches were named among the 15 finalists for the STATS FCS Coach of the Year award, it was announced on Monday morning. Coming off a game Saturday that saw the two teams battling for the NEC title, Duquesne's Jerry Schmitt and Saint Francis U's Chris Villarrial were the league's two honorees.
