Two OVC teams (Eastern Illinois and Jacksonville State) were selected for the NCAA Division I Football Championship, marking the fifth time in the last six years the league has placed two teams in the playoffs. On Monday Jacksonville State remained No. 1 both major Top 25 polls ahead of the postseason beginning.
