Idk, they took 13 of the top 14 at large candidates if you go by this rating. UNH was the only outlier. Seeding obviously was different but not by too much.

EDIT: Check that, seeding for Richmond was way off what the SRS had.

I feel you. I'm not big on pissing on people's effort, but yeah this ain't good. I just don't see how this makes any sense.

I read the mathematical model on NCAA site last year. I believe I could get close to doing a weekly SRS. However, it doesn't matter. The committee is highly political, and randomly picks and chooses what it wants. I mean look at UNH, according to SRS they should not be in.

And Dartmouth is rated higher than NDSU? You will really look at this as having any worth. UNH was 7-4 with four wins in a row to close the season.

They were one of the last teams let it, it isnt like they were seeded or anything.

I don't think SRS is the only tool they use. I am sure it different things get weight in varying circumstances. The AGS Poll sure thought they would be in so I don't see a big problem with not paying attention to SRS in that circumstance. It could be way better than it is for sure.

AGS should do a saturday night poll that allows you to rank the non AQs who participate in the playoffs.

Not sure why SRS exists at this point...year after year...tweak after tweak....it is always garbage.
