Facing the CAA's top defense Saturday afternoon at LaValle Stadium, the University at Albany football team suffered a 20-2 defeat in the final game of the 2015 season against Stony Brook. In the third annual Empire Clash between the two SUNY rivals, the Seawolves took home The Golden Apple trophy in its inaugural year. With the loss, the Great Danes end the season with a 3-8 overall record and 2-6 mark in the CAA, while the Seawolves finish 5-5 on the season and 3-5 in conference play.
