I was playing the bagpipes at the Marine Ball here in Lagos and following on the ticker on my awful government issued Blackberry. There is a VMI grad here who was following along with me.

I was there for the 1990 win and wish I could have been there today! What a win!

I am now home and watching the replay on the SEC network. Literally getting choked up watching these kids play. They fight with everything they have!

Saw some griping by USC fans over the penalty there at the end of the game.

Replay shows inside receiver absolutely was resetting himself during the snap. Side judge immediately stepped in and blew the play dead. Just because the player ran to the end zone does not make the play any less dead.

Short clip. Pretty fun. Game was on TV but this is some field level vid and the shot of Cam Jackson taking the pitch for a 59 yards TD run is awesome if you have not seen it; starts right away at the 10 sec mark.

For those Cid fans who have not seen the game or anyone else who is interested, it is on the SEC network on replay at midnight tonight, unless they pre-empt it due to embarrassment. We will see what the SEC is made of.

We've won 2 of the last 3 against USC. The one we lost was closer than the final score, too.

My only regret was that Spurrier quit. I never liked him that much and it would have been nice to break it off in his a$$.
