Hilariously incompetent play-by-play in the SUU game. The pbp guy didn't understand the offside rule, and then someone obviously disconnected their skype connection, meaning that there was dead air for the last play of the game. Also some light cursing. xeyebrowx

Halftime SHSU 35 UCA 6

Had to step away from posting for a bit, but we've had some interesting results today.

Too bad that NAU/SUU game isn't on anywhere...seems like a barn burner.
For me, that has been the game of the day.

- - - Updated - - -

Southern Utah showed its stuff by coming from behind against a good Northern Arizona club. Deserving Big Sky champion.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 08:16 PM
With the second half underway between Sam Houston State and Central Arkansas, it has been surprising how dominant the Bearkats have been.

SHSU just recovered a fumble with a 35-6 lead and 13:39 left in the third.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 08:17 PM
Outside the fumble return for a TD, Lamar hasn't shown anything against McNeese State and the Cowboys are on the doorstep of another score up 17-7 with less than five minutes left in the third

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 08:19 PM
So… did NC A&T tank it in the hopes of making the playoffs? xlolx;)

Seriously, though, I think NC A&T's Sagarin lead might've been too big for them not to get the Celebration Bowl berth.
Good question. I would rather be in the playoffs.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 08:21 PM
McNeese State gets stopped on fourth down at the one. And Sam Houston expands its lead with another TD to make it 42-6 over Central Arkansas. Five unanswered TDs for the Bearkats.

Jeez, C, so much multitasking! Amphetamines?
Nothing stronger than a little caffeine.

Mr. C

North Dakota is handling Cal Poly on the road, 21-0 in the second quarter. UND has an interesting resume for the playoffs, including that win over Wyoming.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 08:48 PM
Finally another score for Central Arkansas on a nice TD pass play. Sam Houston 42, Central Arkansas 13 with a couple of minutes left in the third period.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 08:54 PM
After three quarters, Sam Houston State 42, Central Arkansas 13

- - - Updated - - -

McNeese State has extended its lead to 20-7 with a field goal. The Cowboys have had kicking issues this year. Under eight minutes left at Lamar.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 09:04 PM
Lamar finally gets some offense and scores on a long TD pass to make it McNeese State 20, Lamar 13 with 4:42 remaining.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 09:17 PM
McNeese State runs out the clock for a 20-14 victory that really didn't seem that close. The Cowboys almost seemed to coast and definitely left some points on the field.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 09:23 PM
And the game goes final in Conway, Arkansas as Sam Houston State closes out its 42-13 win over Central Arkansas

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 09:26 PM
There is one final FCS regular-season game to go and North Dakota leads a disappointing Cal Poly team 28-0 at halftime in San Luis Obispo, California

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 09:28 PM
So who is in your 24-team bracket? Who are your seeds? Let's start the discussion.

PantherRob82
November 21st, 2015, 09:35 PM
1- Jax St
2- McNeese
3- NDSU
4-IlSU
5-JMU
6-PSU
7-CSU
8- Richmond

or something? xlolx

- - - Updated - - -

Seems like EIU@UNI with the winner going to Illinois State makes sense, but maybe Dayton goes to EIU instead?

Mr. C

Most wide open tournament all the way around that I can remember. Parity has come to FCS this season from the opening game to the final regular-season weekend.

North Dakota broke things open with 21 points in the second quarter. Too bad this game is streaming anywhere. I would like another look at whatever you call this team now.

North Dakota continued its impressive night by going ahead 35-0 early in the third quarter before Cal Poly finally got on the board with a TD to make it 35-7. This game is winding down play in the third quarter. Hard to believe that this is the same Cal Poly team that nearly beat Arizona State in week two of the season. The Big Sky was brutally competitive this season.

Finally was able to get on the stream. One more game before the long day ends.

By my count, I have watched 20 different games today.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 10:09 PM
Cal Poly making a move too late. A Chris Brown TD pass makes it North Dakota 35, Cal Poly 14 with 10 seconds left in the third period.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 10:30 PM
North Dakota adds a field goal to make it 38-14 midway through the fourth period.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 10:36 PM
Cal Poly screws up by not snapping the ball when North Dakota jumped offsides on 4th and 7 and then turns the ball over on downs on an ugly Chris Brown pass. Ball deep in Mustang territory for North Dakota.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 10:39 PM
Another field goal for North Dakota expands the lead to 45-14 over Cal Poly with 4:44 left in the regular season.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 10:42 PM
Only a little over 140 yards of rushing for the normally potent Cal Poly triple option. Impressive defensive effort for North Dakota.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 10:47 PM
Another TD for Cal Poly to cut the lead by North Dakota to 45-21 with 1:17 remaining.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 10:49 PM
Onside kick by cal Poly goes only eight yards, but is recovered by North Dakota anyway.

Mr. C
November 21st, 2015, 10:51 PM
And it is over in San Luis Obispo as North Dakota caps its 45-21 victory. Was it enough to earn UND a playoff at-large bid?

I will NEVER be seen as a person that wants anything good to happen to the Siouxage but with wins over FBS Wyoming, I know they are terrible but still FBS, and a win over a seeded Portland State I think the Siouxage are in the playoffs.

North Dakota presents a pretty good resume. Hopefully, it doesn't come down to some conferences getting an extra bid they don't deserve (i.e., the OVC, the MEAC etc.)

12 hours of watching FCS today. Wow. Feeling a little burry eyed.
