Jacksonville State remained the No. 1 ranked team in both major FCS Top 25 polls, claiming the top spot in the STATS poll for the 10th-straight week and the FCS Coaches poll for the third consecutive week. Eastern Illinois senior Dino Fanti was named STATS National Defensive Player of the Week after making two key plays in the fourth quarter that directly led to his team's win over UT Martin as the Panthers kept its playoff hopes alive.
