On a week where Harvard's band spelled PENIS on the field before shrinking under the pressure of the nation's longest win streak...

And the Youngstown State Pelinis were knocked out of the playoffs thanks to some of their namesakes personal fowls...

And Dayton became the first team to reach 10 D1 wins while clinching their first playoff appearance by defeating a 90-year-old black man in a game of 11-on-1, who had, by my count, previously suffered at least 174 separate heart attacks that nearly caused him to join his dear Elizabeth...

We finally had a largely stable top of the poll!
All of the games are updated, just waiting on some write-ups of the Western Carolina, New Hampshire, and Central Arkansas games and then those will get added. Of course, SOS and Sagarin Rankings will be done tomorrow once that's all sorted out. In the meantime, enjoy! As always, if you notice any errors, please let me know so I can get them corrected ASAP.

There was nothing more dangerous than a 2-8 team at their place ready to do some damage to a top 25 team...after UCA was up 17 in the fourth Nicholls State gave them a heart attack and nearly pulled off the upset with a 7 lateral last play. After keeping UCA's defense on the field for 21 minutes in the first half, the BEARS pull it off and win 34-31. Saw some backups playing in the fourth too. But a win is a win..now 7-1 in the SLC and has reached 7 division I wins!

Reminds me of Lehigh's band back in the early 1970's, when the home teams wore white, created a 'phalanx' column extending out of the stadium tunnel. Just before the team emerged, the band 'moved' the column and obvious curled end to a more 'erect' position, whereupon the team came streaming out of the tunnel onto the Taylor Stadium field. From the upper deck, it was a sight to see. Too bad there are no videos, as there would be in todays world!!

I don't know, it sure looks like they spelled "USS Enterprise" to me. Their staff must be from KState or something...

Not sure how you've determined "Versus AGS Top 25" but if it is versus current top 25 then Montana should be 3-1.
They were beat soundly by #9 Portland State. Though they beat #2 No Dakota St., and beat soundly both # 16 E. WA, and #20 No Arizona.

And it could be 4-1 if NoDak sneaks in. xthumbsupx

It's a meaningless exercise, but we all get excited about it.

Looking at this season, it's difficult to believe the Griz beat NDSU, EWU and NAU, but lost to Cal Poly and Weber State...
