You finally deserved the chance... congratulations! (As if I asked for PFL reform earlier this season, but this season proved us wrong - for now.)

I've always had a lot of respect for Dayton's overall athletic department. Mercer and Dayton never met during the 1-year Pioneer Football League membership, but that saved us from a tough matchup back in 2013. Congrats to the Flyers! Good luck!

Duquense or Saint Francis?
With Bryant's loss to Sacred Heart today, it sets up the NEC Championship next week at Rooney Field (Noon on ESPN3).
This will be the 5th different team in 6 years to represent the NEC in the playoffs:
2010 - Robert Morris vs. North Dakota State (MVFC)
2011 - Albany vs. Stony Brook (Big South)
2012 - Wagner vs. Colgate (Patriot) / vs. Eastern Washington (Big Sky)
2013 - Sacred Heart vs. Fordham (Patriot)
2014 - Sacred Heart vs. Fordham (Patriot)
2015 - Duquense or Saint Francis
----
Congrats to the Flyers - well deserved!

99% sure that Dayton's program has over 650 wins. That's some pretty elite company.

I'm pretty sure that a victory would lead to St. Francis' first FCS playoff appearance.

Charleston Southern Buccaneers, winning the Big South Conference outright. Hope they don't get penalized for playing and lossing to Alabama next week when it comes to seeding for the playoffs.

Beat Alabama and you won't have to worry about it...you would be the #1 seed.

Playing the NEC champ seems more likely.

4 of the last 5 seasons the NEC champ has played the Patriot League champ. Only season they didn't was in 2011 when then Big South Stony Brook played then NEC champ Albany.
So if that stays consistent it would be Duquesne/St.Francis winner @ Colgate.
