Only a little over 8400 today at Brooks. The weather forecast was bad all week and the students are always hit or miss for day games. Overall not a terrible showing.

I was among the 11,017 who watched Penn come back to beat Princeton 26-23 in OT (20-20 at end of regulation) at historic Franklin Field.

Fun fact. Portland state has more FBS wins this year than Umass.

Meanwhile in New England:

A little south of 4,000 in Hanover on Friday night to watch Dartmouth beat Cornell.

A decent crowd, IMHO, given that few probably planned the trip when it was announced it was on television on Friday night in Hanover in November. Definitely could have been much worse. But whatever television says, goes.

Weather turned out to be very pleasant, and the Green fans that came were treated to a 21-3 victory.

Poor student turn out as always.

That's been an issue at Dartmouth this year as well. Very disappointing, because the weather and the team have been performing well this season.

It sure looked like there were more than 700 empty seats from our vantage point up high in the end zone. Deer hunting openers in both N.D. and Minn, hurt attendance.
