After another terrific defensive performance, Villanova (5-4, 4-2 CAA Football) has now held its opponents without a touchdown in three of the last four games. The latest effort for the Wildcats came in a 24-3 win over Rhode Island (1-8, 1-5 CAA Football) at Meade Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The defense had four interceptions and Villanova rushed for a season-high 284 yards in the victory.
