As expected, William & Mary is hammering Elon. It is 34-6 in the third period. The Tribe blew off the doors with 21 points in the first period on a 19-yard TD run from Kendall Anderson, a 1-yard smash from Mikal Abdul-Saboor and DaVonte Dedmon's 70-yard punt return. Two Nick Dorka field goals from 34 and 35 yards made it 27-0 at the half.

Three TDs in the first nine minutes of the first period pretty much made this an early TKO.

Elon came back for an early touchdown in the third period, but an interception off a trick play, reverse pass resulted in an interception for Elon's third turnover of the game and a Tribe TD pass.

Malcolm Summers rushed 2 yards for the Elon score, but the Phoenix failed on Corey Joiner's two-point running attempt.

A 33-yard pass from Steve Cluley to Matt Sniezek made it 34-6 for W&M

Elon is moving the ball better after putting up just 103 yards in the first half, but faces a fourth and 7 from the Tribe 40.

On a disorganized play, William & Mary got heavy pressure on Elon and forced an incompletion to give the Tribe back the ball. Elon had holding calls on both the interception and the fourth-down incompletion.

A couple of short runs and an incompletion by Steve Cluley on third down into triple coverage forces W&M to punt.

The Tribe struggled in the red zone and a high snap on Dorka's 32-yard field goal attempt resulted in an Elon blocked kick. The Phoenix returned it to the Tribe 48 and has now completed back-to-back passes to the Tribe 17 for a first down.

In the midst of another losing performance, Elon has passed for a season-high 267 yards. But after moving to a first down at the 36, the Phoenix fumble on a bad exchange on the read option W&M ball at the Elon 32 with under 5 minutes left.

Jonathan Dunn has run the ball down to the Elon 21 for a first down for the Tribe.
