marshall was humiliated by that....and then came randy moss to avenge the defeat....

There should be a touch over 24,000 for the game tonight...which is pretty amazing to me for a semifinal game considering attendance at most other 1-AA schools....but it would be cool to see a national championship game hit 40k or more...no matter who was playing:hurray:

Griz fans have done an excellent job bringing lots of people to Chatty in all three of their Chatty NC games, but they won't bring that many. An Appalachian State - Montana national championship would bring the most people than any other possible matchup, but I don't see even that breaking 25k.

I played in the 89 NC game againt SF Austin in statestboro. Our stadium seats 18,000 but with the grass hills full its more like 24,000 which was what they said was the attendance at that game I think. However, they had temp bleachers added to the visitor side for that game that probably seated 1,500 and temps in the endzone. I think there was more like 30,000 at that game.
