This is the dumbest poll year in and year out. This is the first time I have even looked at this poll in a couple years, and YEP- it's still a dumb poll

80% of FCS coaches only give a rip about the FCS inasmuch as it gets them a job in FBS. Your run of the mill east coast FCS coach can't even tell you what conference Cal Poly is in and vice versa.

80% of FCS coaches only give a rip about the FCS inasmuch as it gets them a job in FBS. Your run of the mill east coast FCS coach can't even tell you what conference Cal Poly is in and vice versa.

I get the impression most coaches farm this out to low-level staffers, so the results can't be too surprising.

I'm pretty sure you are correct. But that said, the result would still be the same if they did the voting themselves.

Ranked teams with losing records should not be ahead of The Citadel. There are also numerous teams with .500 or worse records getting votes, but WCU can't get 1? 7-8 teams with worse records and many of those with weaker schedules! xnonox

Two teams with losing records in the top 25 isn't right. I don't care who they lost too.
