According to the Salt Lake Tribune, "Utah defensive coordinator Gary Andersen will interview for the vacant head coaching job at Idaho State University today, potentially leaving the Utes with a big hole to fill for next season."

Anderson was a DLine coach in the early 90s...

Idaho St has already interviewed Bowling Green QB coach Mick McCall yesterday on campus and plan to interview as many as six candidates, with Dec 15th the desired date of having someone in place...

Any FCS folks have a chance at this job from other Big Sky or maybe even GWFC schools?

Montana QB coach Steve Axman applied for the job.

No Jerry Glanville rumors out there? That was the best part of our coaching search last year. I'm sure we'll be on another coaching search here soon enough so maybe he'll pop up again then.

Glanville was involved in our 2004 coaching search. He actually applied for the head coaching job...

How about the A-10? Maine's Offensive Coordinator, Robert Wilder, will be in town tomorrow (Friday). Axman from Montana applied, and Montana's OC (Phenicie) has also had his name thrown around. Dave Baldwin, who was OC at Michigan State under John L. Smith and was HC at Cal St-Northridge in the 90's, has also been rumored to have shown interest.
