BEAUMONT, Texas _ Blake Veasley knew he would have to carry the load Saturday night with fellow running back Dominique Thomas out with an injury. The senior from Cherry Valley, Ark., did that and more in carrying the University of Central Arkansas Bears to a 35-17 victory over the Lamar Cardinals on a rainy, soggy night at Provost Umphrey Stadium.
