Two interceptions that were returned for touchdowns in the second half were too much to overcome and No. 23 Villanova (3-4, 2-2 CAA Football) saw a late rally come up just short in a 28-21 loss to Towson (4-3, 2-2 CAA Football) at Johnny Unitas Stadium on Saturday night. Sophomore running back Matt Gudzak (Toms River, N.J.) ran for a career-high 96 yards and a touchdown to lead the Wildcats offense, which amassed 421 yards of total offense despite the loss.
