I'm too used to see us play with perfection and extreme precision, it's frustrating to not see that. Too high of expectations I guess. Glad to see they proved me wrong and stepped it up in the second half to take the lead back.

I'm excited about that. We destroyed a pass happy Lujan...and we did decent about Sawyer Kollmorgen against UNI in the first half. It's when Sawyer started going RO that we started having problems.

Get ready to see alot more read option. It may be what we need to get the running game back on track. And Stick seemed like he had a decent read. If you get the read correct 75% of the time your doing good.

QB cannot be a RB. We need to limit the QB runs. If he gets injured we are down to third string.

I think Dale Lennon and SIU have got to be pretty excited at the chance to take down NDSU. That is going to be a tougher game than today's game was. ES will have the benefit of one game under his belt but I don't think it's going to be enough. Especially with the way our O coordinator is calling games and the fact our D is so Jeckyll and Hyde'ish this yeear. Hope I'm wrong but on the road they are going to have to play better than they did today to come away with a "W"

This is the part that surprises me the most about our defense. We used to be the most sound at maintaining their lanes and being gap sound. I realize we have lots of new guys playing on defense but man weren't they paying attention to the upperclassmen last year??? Apparently not.

Which has been the Bison defense's Achilles heal this year... the big play. If the NDSU defense is able to force an offense to march methodically down the field sooner or later they usually get the stop. However, they've given up 6 TDs (that I can recall, maybe more) of 60+ yards this year.

I think SIU is going to put up their share of points. I expect NDSU to do the same and like all SIU games it seems, it'll be a barn burner.
