Eastern Illinois football improved to 3-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference on Saturday night with a 25-22 overtime win at Tennessee State.* The win evened EIU's record at 3-3 for the year.* On Monday the Panthers were listed among the teams also receiving votes in both FCS Top 25 polls.EIU received eight votes in the STATS FCS Media poll which places the Panthers 44th in the poll.* EIU had one vote in the FCS Coaches poll which ranks EIU 42nd.The Panthers return to action on Saturday afternoon hosting Tennessee Tech at 1 p.m. at O'Brien Field in what will be the 100th homecoming celebration on the Charleston campus.* Tickets are available by calling 217-581-2106.
