Two touchdowns in the second half were not enough to erase an early deficit and No. 5 Villanova (2-2) lost by a final count of 24-13 to Penn (1-1) at Villanova Stadium on Thursday night. The visiting Quakers built a 14-0 lead in the first half and never let the Wildcats get closer than a 10-point margin the rest of the way. Redshirt freshman quarterback Zach Bednarczyk (Wallington, N.J.) had 208 yards of total offense in his first career start.
