florida was up 17-0 with less than 2 minutes in the first quarter. arkansas has come back and now leads 21-17 about halfway through the third quarter....

if florida loses....will it be michigan? USC has been defeated. will the computers put Michigan against Ohio State if Florida loses?????????

(i'm so glad that WE have a REAL championship)

holy crap! florida punts on 4th and 1 after taking their final timeout of the game (a seemingly stupid idea)...

but they recover a fumble in the end-zone for a touchdown!!! oh snap.

Arkansas just scored to make it 31-28. If the Hogs win, its Michigan-Ohio St. again & nobody can bitch about anything.

Not true...

I think if Michigan wins over Ohio St in the title game, there will still be some griping...

Time to watch the computers!

Very true Terror. I meant no griping about who will play in Glendale.

i think even if florida wins that michigan should go. i don't really think its fair that michigan has to SIT for two weeks while everyone else plays....they don't have a Big 10 championship game...because they dont' need one...and it would've just been ANOTHER rematch between ohio state and michigan. wow....this FBS crap really is that....a LOAD OF CRAP.

Not mention this crap from the CBS announcers lobbying for Florida. Reminds me of '97 when all the TV people lobbied for Nebraska to get a share of the title & the coaches gave it to them.

Agreed, Michigan and Ohio State are the two best teams in the country. They would both destroy Florida.

Again, speculation.

Nobody is going to "crush" Florida. They are one of those teams that play up or down to the competition every week. Florida / OSU, if played, WILL be a close game. I think OSU wins, but most certainly not in a blowout. :twocents:

Plus, they went 12-1 playing in the very tough SEC. The one loss to Auburn was due directly to a very qustionable call. Just because Florida doesn't blow lesser teams out the way some expect, they get no respect.

There have been a lot of very good teams that have done nothing but win close games. :twocents:

Exactly. See Ohio State in 2002. They won ugly that whole year and had a few close calls then when it came time to play Miami everyone was predicting a blowout. OSU will have the longest layoff of any championship participant. We will see how sharp they are come jan 8th no matter who they play.
