Syracuse comes back, but it's not enough, Wichita State wins it in New York, 64-61 to move to 6-0!

This is the second top 15 win for Wichita State in the last week!

I almost made the 2 hour trek up to Syracuse to go to this game. I was interested in seeing WSU play and i usually go to a couple games a year at the dome. Unfortunately my buddy couldn't go tonight so i'll probably wait until the conference slate begins to catch a game. The Orange started slow and battled back but the Shockers hung in there. The 'Cuse are a young team and might make a run in March once they get experience. I think both WSU and Gonzaga have a good shot to get to the Final 4 this year. Gonzaga looks very very good right now. Butler's having a great opening month too but it'll be interesting to see if they can maintain it throughout the year.

The MVC is going to be insane this year.

Six teams will just beat up on each other.

Wichita State, SIU, Creighton, Missouri State, UNI, and Bradley all have what it takes to get to the NCAA tournament, and realistically only 4 will probably make it. 3 or 5 bids is unlikely, but possible depending on what else happens.

But, barring a complete and total meltdown, WSU should be in!
