THIBODAUX, La. -**The Nicholls State University Colonels (0-1, 0-0 SLC) will open its 25th season in the Southland Conference with a road game at Incarnate Word (1-1, 0-1 SLC). After falling in their season opener, Nicholls will look to rebound against UIW, which posted a 2-9 record last season. The Cardinals spoiled Nicholls' Homecoming last season by defeating the Colonels, 38-20, in Thibodaux.*
