Delaware @ #7 Villanova - I want to be wrong, but I don't see it happening
Harvard @ Rhode Island - Closer than rankings say it should be
Albany @ #11 James Madison - Will be JMU's first tough game
#22 William & Mary @ Virginia - I want to pick W&M, but UVA should be angry looking for a win
VMI @Richmond- VMI might be improved, but Spiders too much
Holy Cross @ Towson - Tigers have impressed so far
North Carolina A&T @ Elon - Probably closer than I would have guessed at the beginning of the year
#13 New Hampshire @ Stony Brook - My upset pick of the week, Seawolves have looked more impressive thus far
Maine @ Tulane - 8 PM - Rough opening schedule for Black Bears, hope no players get in trouble on Bourbon Street

I may have missed the first two weeks but I don't care I'm going to make picks anyway.
Delaware @ #7 Villanova - And it's not even close.
Harvard @ Rhode Island - I always feel safe picking against Rhody.
Albany @ #11 James Madison - I'm not sure if JMU is good or VERY good this year. Either way they beat Albany.
#22 William & Mary @ Virginia - This is a win-win pick. Either I'm right or I'll be drunkenly celebrating all weekend.
VMI @ Richmond - The Spiders should be fine as long as they didn't bring the MEAC officials back with them from Hampton.
Holy Cross @ Towson - The Tigers have looked good so far this year.
North Carolina A&T @ Elon - Elon is terrible.
#13 New Hampshire @ Stony Brook - Is it still an upset if half the people so far have picked the Seawolves?
Maine @ Tulane - That's a long way to travel for a loss.

Gangtackle11
September 15th, 2015, 05:20 AM
Delaware 10 @ #7 Villanova 28 - The Wildcats wear down Blue Hens defense to break open a close game.
Harvard 20 @ Rhode Island 19 - I want to pick Rhody. I just can't.
Albany 17@ #11 James Madison 34 - Dukes will be in a tussle for awhile. See Villanova above.
#22 William & Mary 14 @ Virginia 24 - I think W&M will find a way to scare their in state big brother.
VMI 7 @ Richmond 28 - I see most of the marching coming from Richmond down the field.
Holy Cross 7 @Towson 17 - Tigers will find a way against a capable HC team.
North Carolina A&T 20 @Elon 21 Don't ask me why because I don't know.
#13 New Hampshire 17 @ Stony Brook 20 -I guess it's an upset. I'm not so sure.
Maine 16 @ Tulane 20 - See Rhody explanation

Last week: 9-0 Season: 18-2

Villanova 35, Delaware 21 - I expected a little more of an explosive offensive performance against Fordham last week, but I think the Wildcats put some points up on the board this week in Newark.
Harvard 24, Rhode Island 6 - First game of the year for Harvard could make this interesting for a little bit, but the fact that Rhode Island has been outscored 82-7 does not bode well for the Rams.
James Madison 28, Albany 20 - If this was at Albany I might pick them. I think Stony Brook and Albany have settled into the league in year 3 and will be tough week in and week out going forward.
Virginia 24, William & Mary 21 - I love this spot for William & Mary. UVA comes off tough battles against UCLA and Notre Dame, while W&M had a bye last week. I think this has the potential for an upset, but I think it ends up being a narrow miss.
Richmond 30, VMI 24 - If there was a spread on this game, I would take the Keydets and the points. VMI has put up 79 in the first two weeks and looked decent. Richmond struggled at times against Hampton last week. I still think the Spiders win at home in a close game.
Towson 28, Holy Cross 24 - I liked what I saw from the Towson defense against St. Francis last week, and o-line has made incredible strides since last year. I still don't love what I see from Frazier and once again special teams has been a disaster at times. I think this will be a good game, and I am hoping the Tigers pull it out by wearing out Holy Cross with Victor and putting them away in the fourth quarter.
Elon 24, NC A&T 20 - Hard to know what NC A&T is based on the extremes of its opponents the first two weeks. If this was a road game I would pick against Elon, but I think they win this one at home.
Stony Brook 21, New Hampshire 20 - I have this as my upset of the week. I think Stony Brook has had this game circle on the calendar as their statement game to tell the CAA they have arrived. I am picking them to take the Wildcats down at home.
Tulane 30, Maine 13 - Tulane has been beat up pretty good its first two weeks, but Duke and Georgia Tech are both quality teams. I think they take out some frustrations on Maine, but I don't think they are good enough to completely blow them out.

I dont think Nova gets 31 points in Newark ... unless the game has been moved due the Pope's visit...

seriously though, combination of Nova offense looking a bit sluggish combined with a very young energetic Defense for Delaware, dont think you get 31 points and I have no idea why you think Delaware will get 21..

I will admit my guesses on scores are not the most scientific. However, my general thoughts were I figured Nova would get on track offensively and get a big lead early, and Delaware would score in response when the Nova defense is not at its stiffest. I am probably giving a bit too much credit to the Nova offense, but those were just my quick reactions looking at the matchup. I have not had a chance to watch either team play yet, so I would imagine your analysis is probably more sound than my guess of the score.

Delaware @ #7 Villanova - NOVA (UD looks pretty poor right now).
Harvard @ Rhode Island - URI (I see a bounce back game).
Albany @ #11 James Madison - 3 PM JMU (maybe next year. JMU is damn talented and wiser than the young Danes).
#22 William & Mary @ Virginia - 3:30 PM - ESPN (UVA is going to be like a pissed off hornet. They lose this game...and it's because they are hungover from the ND loss).
VMI @ Richmond - 6 PM - CSN-MA+(Richmond...thought they haven't look strong...VMI doesn't have the horses).
Holy Cross @ Towson - 6 PM Towson. I think they run it down Holy Cross's throat.
North Carolina A&T @ Elon - 6 PM Elon- No idea what to make of either team right now. Going with the home team.
#13 New Hampshire @ Stony Brook- UNH; Wow...one of the truest toss-up games. I don't think you can tell much from either team's games this year. UNH by a nose hair.
Maine @ Tulane - 8 PM - ESPN3 Tulane- A snore fest...both teams look awful...just Tulane looks less awful.

Virginia 34 W&M 24 - Tribe catch Wahoos in good spot. Still, they don't have quite enough to win...
Richmond 45 VMI 30 - The Spiders defense seems suspect....
Towson 34 Holy Cross 21 -Tigers too physical for the Crusaders....
NC A&T 28 Elon 20 - I'll take the Aggies in a close game....
