A few years ago it may have been Eastern Washington...when they weren't playing in Joe Albi.

Way back when-Cal State Northridge...but that program gave up the ghost.

Of 10 I-AA stadiums I've been to, JMU, UR, W&M, UD, Towson, Nova, Lehigh, Furman, Chattanooga, YSU. Its hands down: UNH. One road into stadium. Limited tailgating where drinking is allowed. JMU@UNH game this yr took an hr to go a mile from highway exit to parking. When I finally got up to parking areas the alcohol allowed lot was full, only non alcoholic lots were left. Had to go in one and then hide my drink whenever this cop in a "special operations" van drove around trying to catch people drinking. Stadium only listed to seat 6500. Looks like a glorified HS stadium. On visitor side at halftime was a huge line for the I think I remember they were port a potties. Behind visitor's side are woods. Was no fence blocking access, so lots of us guys just went a little ways into the woods to piss.

There was an article in a local paper this week in which the AD,in a nutshell,said that the progress in attempting to get the ball rolling re:a new stadium has been slower than he had hoped for.I got the impression that he was disapointed to say the least.Maybe I'll start buying POWERBALL tickets twice a week and donate the proceeds to the stadium fund when I win.

I sit on the visitors side quite a bit so I can talk with fans from other schools,and I can definitely vouch for what you said about the convenience of the nearby wooded area when nature calls.It's pretty sad actually when you consider that that is usually the best alternative.

That being said, The University does their very best with a lousy hand to put on a good show. And, we know the kids on the team put ona great show! :hurray:

By almost any measurement, New Hampshire has the worst stadium in the FCS/I-AA, although there are some other brutally bad ones scattered throughout the A-10. Rhode Island and Northeastern are pretty bad as well.

At least, URI is "saved" by the elevated indoor paviliion created by the fabulous Ryan Center (basketball) which backs up to the home side seats. Nice during bad weather and the snack bars and bathrooms are right there, as well. Home side seating is very steep which makes for some great sight lines. And, if the game is bad, the beach is just 5 minutes distant!! :smiley_wi

Northeastern is pretty rough, as well. Truly HS-like in size and even more so in its setting amidst a residential neighborhood in Brookline, MA. In a wierd way, however, it is sort of charming.. And, being in Boston is never a bad thing.

Before Cal Poly pumped 21.5 million into their stadium over the last two seasons, they would have been in the running. Same thing goes for UC Davis who will open a great new stadium next season. Their old one, Toomey, which they just played their last game in this last weekend was showing it's age.

I don't know, but Southern Illinois' McAndrew stadium is really crappy.

The friggin thing is crumbling at the foundation! I'm afraid to sit in the west end because of it.

First place is no doubt UNH, but IMO second place in the A10 goes to Villanova. Yes, Parsons and Meade are worse, but so are the teams. With the concessions now at Meade available from the Ryan Center, it may actually be better than Villanova anyway. So what if they have a new press box, they also have a big track around the field, the stands are small and flat, and they have astroturf. : smh :

Nice statiums but whatever and whenever it's done at UNH, I just hope the track is not part of it. So the stands can be right on the field like in the last picture you posted Flytown. Thats the biggest issue I have with the old dump if you can believe it, is with the seating on the outside of the track your so far removed from the game you might as well be watching it from the parking lot.

Wow, kinda laughed when I read this. We sat in the west end for the UNI-SIU game and my daughter (who's 5) went to round the corner and go up to her seat. When she put her hand on the corner of the entrance, a baseball-sized chunk of concrete fell off!!!!:eek:

They went back on campus...I'm a Houston native and there was a write-up about it over a year ago about how they were leaving the Rob...

Check their stats...played all their home games at Durley Complex. Only game in Houston not played there was Labor Day Classic vs PVA&M at Reliant Stadium...
