Here we are again, we are about to begin yet another short Ivy League football season...
Game Lineup (my picks in bold):
Dartmouth at Georgetown - the Hoyas just defeated a Marist team that may be a shell of last year's squad.
Bryant at Brown
Penn at Lehigh - a new coach for the Quackers.
Yale at Colgate - no Varga now for the Elis, but Colgate has lost 2 in a row.
Harvard at Rhody - the answer is simple. Rhody is a cupcake.
Columbia at Fordham - same question as Harvard at Rhody, but directed towards Columbia.
Bucknell at Cornell
Princeton at Lafayette - Lafayette battled the Hens tough but they got exhausted towards the end.

Agreed with reservations. Hard to predict how the Ivy teams will respond in their openers.
I CAN predict, and be pretty confident that I will be correct, Bagnoli will wonder what he got himself into next week.

Will it really be that much worse than what he left behind?

Welcome... better late than never. Or, if some Ivy presidents get their way, it will be never...

Dartmouth rather con vincingly
Lehigh over Penn
Bryant catches Brown in opener
Gate over Yale. Gate game speed will tell early, expect they will hold on for W
Harvard easily
Rams rout
Bucknell too much for a bad Cornell program
Princeton close over Pards.

Maybe not on the scoreboard against this particular team, but certainly in every other way, yes.

I agree with the bolded statement. In the previous years that I've been predicting Ivy week 1s, I mostly got them wrong - 1/2 to 2/3 of the time. xsmhx
And also, Bagnoli should've stayed retired IMHO. Take a D3 lifer like Dick Maloney (UChicago previous head coach who retired two years ago), and the Ivy coaches are somewhat comparable to them. Maybe Murphy will end up retiring like Bagnoli had...

From week 1-10 the ivy will be irrelevant.

xscanxxchinscratchx Is Rhody that bad to be a three-score home dog? I'm almost tempted to take URI plus the points there.
