Sophomore Frank Catrine led all receivers in receptions with eight for 70 yards. Freshman Joey Diaz-Martinez picked off two passes before Scott Staal recorded his first career touchdown toss on a 16-yard shovel pass to Jake Hutson. However, Stanley Absanon and the Colonels were too much for the Brown and Gold as #17 Eastern Kentucky recorded a 52-10 win in front of 12,800 at Roy Kidd Stadium.
