Two of the nation’s most unique mascot nicknames will do battle on the gridiron late in the 2016 college football season. Western Carolina and South Carolina have agreed to a one-game contract for a meeting at Williams-Brice Stadium (80,250) in Columbia, S.C., slated for Nov. 19, 2016, it was announced this week.
