I know DJ missed some time during his college career. Curious if anyone could outline what were the injuries and how much time he missed.
Full Disclosure: I'm looking to draft him in a dynasty league. I've seen him play enough I definitely think he could be a starter in the NFL, but I'm a bit concerned about his durability.
Thanks in advance.

One injury
Hip flexor as a junior....played through it...had 4 100 yard games with it after playing limited roles for a game. The second game after the injury he went for 181 on 35 carries (5.2 ypc). He retweaked it 2 weeks late in practice heading into the ISUr game and only had 5 carries. Finished with 3 straight 160+ yard games that year
Tweaked a hammy in Cards camp. If it was college he would have played and dominated bitched like he did. The NFL is a bit different
That's it.
There's a reason players on the team in 2010 (the year he red-shirted) dubbed him "The Freak" and "The Beast" after his first day of practice

So did the hip flexor start at the NDSU game or did he retweak it that game?

Start.
It was the play he broke free and was caught at about the 10 and was fighting for extra yards and got down to about the 4 or 5 yard line. I'm sure the video is there somewhere (in fact I know it's in his highlight tapes) but the defender had a hold of one leg and he went full extension trying to get another couple yards

It's the play that starts at 2:50...don't skip to it though. You'll miss so much....

Thanks much Clenz.
Just one injury. That erases my concerns there.
I've watched a few NFL backs (West, McKinnon, Zenner, Tale-something from CCU). DJ is just at a different level compared to those.
*Mckinnon is close.
