Is there any other pictures of those Adidas unis? I've seen a few by them and really haven't been impressed so far (mostly the fabric and ****)....Those don't look too gaudy like a few of the others they put out.

This evening McNeese will be unveiling their camo uniforms for the Military Appreciation Night game. It will be in the stadium and the players modeling the uniforms will arrive on the field in a Hummer. I'm going to take some photos. Hopefully, these camo uniforms will look better than the camo ones last season.

The Pinstripes were a neat idea since they were playing in Yankee Stadium. The actual team performance was horrendous. For a one time deal the uniforms were creatively cool imo.

Okay, the Cowboys unveiled the camouflage jerseys that they will wear for the Military Appreciation Game with Incarnate Word on Sept 12th. I like these camo jerseys a lot more than abominations they wore last season.

The best uniform you guys ever had were the brown and gold with the gold helmets with the interlocking "LU". It looked like the John Brodie/Joe Montana San Francisco 49ers uniforms - very classy.

Just a quick update. Our game this coming Saturday against Youngstown State is "Military Appreciation Day". In honor of that, Western is changing up their new helmets a bit and adding a digital camo pattern in purple and gold to the block W on the side of the helmets. You can see the new design here. A couple of years ago at Military Appreciation Day, we introduced desert camo highlights on the sides and around the collar of our jerseys. It was supposed to be a one-time thing, but was so popular that they decided to include it in our regular uniform. You can see the pattern on the vertical side stripe of the jersey here. Under armour has really stepped their game up. I wasn't a big fan when I first saw their designs because they tended to try a lot of wierd, futuristic from looking designs. It seems that they have scaled back a bit though.

Jeez, for decades everyone had a home uniform and a reverse or white jersey for away game. Squandering hundreds of thousands of dollars that could be used for something useful.

UNI also refreshed it's logo. The purple and yellow are now much more vibrant than before. That's reflected on the uniforms too.

Not big changes but the black side piece is gone. I believe the grey pant stripe is gone/altered significantly as well.

I suspect we might see Mercer roll out these All-White (including white helmet) Uni's @ Georgia Tech on 9/10. When Coach Lamb was playing QB, his team pulled off 4 FBS upsets in 4 successive seasons ('85 over NC State, '84 over NC State, '83 over Georgia Tech, and '82 over South Carolina) while wearing All-Whites. Gotta stick with the mojo!

We've got some new home uni's for this season.
Kinda hard to tell with the weird photoshop job on the image, but it looks like a purple double-diamond pattern on the main jersey, they switched out the old Rocky, Globe, and Anchor logo for the plain Rocky head logo, and the white undershirts and pants look like they have a digital camo pattern on them. As near as I can tell, the helmet is the same that we used last year, purple with the "Block W" logo on it.

Not 100% sold on them yet, but I'm thinking they'll look better IRL than in the image, since it looks like in the image, some of the elements were just photoshopped in (like some of the logos). But, you at least get the general idea of what they're going for:

That's the UCLA and Tennessee template. Apparently college kids love them....I think they are horrendous.

Anything UND does takes months and costs thousands of dollars... that said, I don't mind UND's helmets and they even feature their school colors. Of course, I've never confused football with a fashion show. Heck, if NDSU ran out of the tunnel with their pants done in NDSU's tartan, I wouldn't mind.

I don't mind it if it's done right. SDSU does it with their new helmets because the logo stretches over halfway, and I really like them.

I've heard many a time after someone played Delaware, "They played Michigan?". No you don't trademark a style, but you should also try to be different. I'm simply just not a fan of the numbers on your helmet, especially if it's only on one side.

Our logo isn't reversable since the hawk head is incorporated into the letter d. I think I'd prefer UND go steelers style with half blank but I think this doesn't look bad at all. Should've picked a single digit number for this, 99 is kind of an awkward number to fit on there.

Also huge pet peeve of mine is when the logo on a helmet is orientated parallel with the surface a helmet is resting on in a photo shoot. It should be slightly tilted up so that when a player were to wear the helmet THEN the logo would be parallel to the ground. Yes I know that is a weird pet peeve to have.

Very nice, I feel that the mascot alone or mascot with school letters under it, so the image can be put on both sides is the way to go.

I think I prefer this as well. Now that I have had some time to think about this logo, I believe it would make a good shoulder patch. I don't think this is an ideal primary logo. I have seen some renderings of possible hockey jerseys and it does not look good when the logo is blown up.

I guess some wins will make me feel better about all of this.
