We asked Coastal how he REALLY felt about Michael Vick...

I can just hear Don LaFontaine ("that announcer guy from the movies")now..."In a world, where overinflated egos were totally underwater..."

Uncalled for, but I feel sorry for him.

Jim Mora Sr. should never have called him a "coach killer" on a talk radio show.
The play calling sucks, they don't run enough.
His receivers drop balls that an empty bucket would catch.

Vince Young is already a better QB than the vastly over-rated Michael Vick...

the WRs are pathetic. yet all the blame goes to vick. yes its uncalled for but i can understand the frustration. i still say hes a good qb but he needs to control his emotions.

2 weeks ago he was a "Passing God" according to every talk show host in the country. Old Ronnie Mexico is flat out inconsistent period. A NFL QB that is considered a great on in the long term is consistent. Thats all. no more:smiley_wi

Vince Young guided his team to 24 straight points in a 9-minute span in the 4th quarter to defeat the New York Giants 24 - 21. Adam "Pacman" Jones had two interceptions in the 4th quarter and had a 21-yard punt return to start the Tennessee Titan rally. Go Titans!!!! We are seeing why Vince Young is one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. The Titans may not make the playoffs this year, but watchout next year this team will be ready from start to finish. They also had a 25-point lead against Baltimore in Nashville during the season.

wait a sec. i thought just a few weeks ago he was great. now i know he is inconsistent but to annoint vince young way better already thats a bit soon too. Vick is good, they just dont do the right things with him. they should realize he is not going to be a Tom brady or a Peyton, call plays for him and the running game and also it wouldnt hurt if they got a receiver who actually had hands in the place of bricks.

I heard Vick's wide receivers also gave "the finger" to the crowd, but their hands are so bad nobody noticed.

So he's not human....................He should have flipped his D out at them hillbillies.xlolx
Next time they will keep their big arse mouth's shut. xlolx

ATLANTA has to be the fakiest, fair weather sport's town on Earth.
They got a franchise in every sport but these so-called fans only show up once the bandwagon has picked up steam.

Nothing on Earth worse than an ATL sport's fan.

And one question.................When did Jim Mora become such an expert on winning.
That loser could not coach his way out of a paper bag and his son ain't that far behind.

Vick is a Coach Killa?!?.........................The Mora's are FRANCHISE KILLERS!! xlolx

They have not had a receiver on that club since "Bad Moon" Rison was there. :eyebrow:

You know your receiving corps suck when the leading receiver on the team ...........A PRO TEAM.............is the Tight End Krumpler. xlolx

Naw......................But I can't believe that any city on EARTH has more "hard core" fake fan's than Atlanta.
Let them win a few games and "Dirty Bird" shirt's will sell out in 10 minutes. xlolx

As for PRO sport's, that place is FARSCAPE.............No reality. xlolx.

COLLEGE is a different story.
That's bout the only thing that commands loyalty in that city.

Vick is terrible. He is not even the best QB on his team. The most overrated player in all of sports.

And then for the Falcons to eat all that dead money (to the tune of $10 mil per until 2013 or whatever) as soon as they realize Schaub is the better option.... xlolx

I feel bad for Vick because if his receivers could catch a fricken pass, he would have at least looked decent over the last couple weeks of mediocrity. I will agree with the sentiment that the Falcons should go to Schaub, but let's just go ahead and admit that will never happen. I do think Atlanta can win with Vick; they have before and they can again if people catch passes and Vick throws from the pocket a little more like he did a few weeks ago.

The problem with Vick is that he isn't good at the things most important for an NFL QB. Sure his WRs stink but no team catches every pass they should. With Vick its used as an excuse because its a miracle when he throws a catchable ball.

As people have said, a huge problem on top of that is the money that could be spent elsewhere. The Falcons can't win when they devote lots of $$$ to a terrible QB, not with the salary cap. It means they have to be much, much more efficient with the rest of their payroll, not to mention having less depth.

At least a charity will get $10,000 out of this.

My thoughts on the two things fines should be used for...1) Charity and 2) to help fund new stadiums so taxpayers don't have to pay for $500 million + stadiums that ticket prices will be too high for the majority of people funding the stadium to enjoy a game.
