I don't think they will lose to UCLA. Should be a great title game.

One word to describe this: bull****.

Michigan dominated Notre Dame more thoroughly than USC did, and that was AT Notre Dame. USC lost to Oregon State, who have, granted, gotten a lot better over the course of the season and ended up at 8-4; Michigan lost to the #1 team in the country by 3 points on the road. Michigan is easily the second best team in the country. I really don't like the idea of a rematch because it somewhat nullifies what happened during the regular season between these two, but that's kind of like a playoff, isn't it? Ohio State has earned a spot in this game and so has Michigan, despite its loss to Ohio State.

Worse yet, the last thing America needs to see is another Michigan-Notre Dame game, this time in the Rose Bowl. Do us a favor, if it's OSU-USC for the whole enchilada give us LSU vs Michigan, at least that'll be a good game.

I just wanna point out if theres any USC bashers still out there, while the loss still isnt as good a loss as Michigans was, the loss to Oregon State is looking better now that Oregon State has moved into the top 25 in the BCS.

FCS Football is just like Figure Skating! It all depends where you were ranked coming in, if you catch a toe early, and finish great, and are the favorite, you are gold. Just like figure skating this is a mythical championship:nod: . Florida has every right to be in the game along with Michigan, Wisconsin, USC, Boise St., Louisville and so on... If they had a 16 team playoff it would be settled. Untill then, I'll just watch the Russian judge give the Korean girl a 3.2, so she is out of the medals, and enjoy watching her cry like Nancy:bawling: :bawling:

USC certainly deserves to be there if they win saturday. They've played a tougher schedule and aren't ending the season on a loss. UM had their shot at OSU and lost - they don't get a do-over.

And as no one wants to see a UM-ND rematch in Pasadena, hopefully the Rose will take LSU and ND will play the SEC champ in the Sugar

Why no Florida talk? Wouldn't a Florida Michigan match up be the best?

Is the SEC champ tied into a specific bowl should it not make the NC game? I think thats why he said LSU instead.

and the answer...

Unless their champion is involved in the BCS National Championship game, the conference tie-ins are as follows:

Rose Bowl - Big Ten vs. Pac-10.
Fiesta Bowl - Big 12.
Orange Bowl - ACC.
Sugar Bowl - SEC.

I wouldn't mind seeing Michigan demolish Baby Quinn & Notre Dame again but Florida/LSU vs. Michigan would be a much better game.

Since Boise State is now #8 will they get an at-large bid over teams like Notre Dame or Arkansas, if the Razorbacks lose in the SEC Championship game. The Broncos have definitely fulfilled the qualifications of being in the Top 12.

I REALLY would love to see Boise State get and win a BCS game. I hate how people don't want to even give them a chance. I hope the Broncos go balls out and beat a top team and show the nation that there is more to football than the BCS conferences!

They won't get an at-large bid - they are an automatic and it's not "over" teams like ND and Ark. With the 6 conference champs plus Michigan and Boise, there are 2 openings for ND, LSU/SEC loser, and Lousiville if Rutgers beats WVU.

Boise State is guaranteed a spot in one of the five BCS bowl games. They are definitely deserving and are the only other undefeated team in the country.

Notre Dame should not be in a BCS bowl.

I want to see Boise in a BCS game but honestly I think they'll get smashed. I remember that year they hyped them up against UGA and they went to Athens and got their heads torn off.
