ITHACA, N.Y. -- A large part of the improved play of the Big Red defense a year ago can be tied to the maturation of the linebacking corps, which made plays consistently from the opening whistle of the season until the final gun. Now another year older, stronger and wiser, the unit appears to be a big strength heading into the 2015 campaign.
