Hampton is the defending conference champ and defeated Manhattan in the opening round of the NCAA basketball tournament last season. Ke'Ron Brown was a large part of that last year, hoping he is able to recover from these serious injuries.

Detectives of Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department "are seeking information on a shooting that injured one man and claimed the life of another early this morning," a police spokesperson says.
The shooting occurred on the 3600 block of Duane Court at about 12:38 a.m. Victims, Lawrence Bryan, IV, 23, and Keron Brown, 22, were taken to Memorial University Medical Center for care. Bryan succumbed to his injuries. Brown was listed in serious but stable condition.
